Car wash models are made in our production plant. All our models can be made with a hot dip galvanized or INOX finish. The lighting inside the bays is made of LED lighting that is turned on as needed using a motion sensor.
The process of building a car wash
1. A first meeting in our company or at the investors’ premises where the specifics of the car wash are defined.
2. Without any compensation, we study the investor’s spatial plan for the plot to determine whether a car wash can be built there.
3. If it can, we prepare drafts for the investor with a car wash proposal. Then we draft an offer for a car wash. If the investor accepts the offer, we provide support in the preparation of project documentation and the investor submits the conceptual design to the Department for Construction.
4. When all the necessary conditions are met on the basis of the conceptual design, we provide support to the investor’s designer during the drafting of the main project. It takes about 2-3 months from drafting the conceptual design to receiving a building permit.
5. After obtaining a building permit, the construction of the car wash begins. Construction works are carried out at the investor’s location, and the car wash is simultaneously manufactured by our company. After approximately 2 months, the car wash is assembled, which lasts about a week.
6. After the trial testing of the car wash, a technical inspection is requested and a use permit is obtained for the opening of the car wash. The whole procedure from the first meeting to the opening of the car wash takes 6 to 8 months.

A building permit for the plot is required, as well as a title deed and a use permit obtained after the construction of the car wash.
You must have a construction plot and the option to make all the necessary connections.
All connections are made according to the plans. The cost of connections is borne by the investor.
Water, electricity, sewage and gas (if there is no gas, heating oil, propane-butane or wood pellets can be used).
In locations where there is no sewage, purified water is usually discharged into a roadside ditch after the oil and grease separator. If there is no roadside ditch or discharge into the ditch is not permitted, a tank is installed that serves as a septic tank.
You only need to change the oil in the pumps, change the filters, service the heaters, and the rest is maintained as needed.
It is not necessary to hire an employee for the operation and maintenance of the car wash. The owner can do everything by himself in a short period of time. About 2 hours per day is required for washing the bays, refilling soap and other supplies and collecting the daily revenue.
The whole process from the first meeting to the opening of the car wash takes about 6 to 8 months.
All spare parts can be obtained at our company.
It is best to set up a car wash next to busy locations where a large number of vehicles circulates. However, more and more car washes are recently being opened near large shopping centers.
It depends on the number of bays and the shape of the land plot. 700-800m2 is needed for 3-4 bays, 1000-1200m2 for 5-6 bays.
Total expenses (soap, electricity, water, gas, etc.) are about 30% of the total revenue.

The car wash does not issue or fiscalize invoices. In Croatia, we use an authorized company for this. A device (logger + data SIM card) is purchased from the company and installed at the car wash. This device is used for fiscalization. A sticker with a bar code is issued by the company and must be affixed visibly at the car wash, so that users can scan it and download an e-invoice (via mobile phone or tablet). A contract is signed with the company and a monthly maintenance fee is charged. You can use the services of the company we use or you can find someone to do it by yourself (it’s your choice).
After the warranty period has expired, you will still have our support and spare parts available. You will just have to pay for the necessary parts and their delivery, and, while we would provide you with instructions on how to install them yourself, our service technician can also carry out all the work for you, for which you will be charged according to the Protech d.o.o. price list.
